A DISAPPOINTING performance saw Berrow Reserves crash out of the Hospital Cup at the weekend.

The team trailed 3-0 at half-time after Selkirk United ran riot but the team couldn't get back on terms in the second half either with Steve Eley's penalty two minutes from time, the only consolation. They are back in league action at Hutton on Saturday.

There was also little joy in the league for Burnham United 'A' as they fell to a 4-2 defeat at Axbridge Town.

Goals came from Alec Wilkins and James Chinnock but it was not enough to seal the points ahead of their home cup clash to Yatton Athletic Reserves this weekend.

In Divsion Four, King Alfred Sports Centre lost 2-1 at home to Cleeve West Town 'A' and Division Five side Burnham United 'B' took a hefty 7-0 battering at home to Wrington Redhill Reserves.

Wedmore Reserves were on the wrong end of a goalfest in their match at home to Shipham Reserves and lost 7-3.
