PROMINENT Bristol match group Fry's held a match on the Hawthorns and Westpool (30 pegs) at Shiplate Farm.It was cold with just a light ground frost but mainly dry. Maggot was the favoured bait by many of the anglers.

First place went to Ray Cooper on peg two at Westpool who caught 45lb 8oz, second place went to Dean Malin on peg 14 at Hawthorns who caught 42lb 4oz and third was Alan Healey on peg six at Westpool who hauled in 27lb 9oz. Silvers went to Alan Jones on peg 12 at Westpool who caught 5lb 4oz.
