WAYNE Hand had a sixth-hand 21 double flopper for Little Acorn in Division One.
Hand finished up with 80, which helped his team to their first win of the season, as they defeated The Lads by 17 pins.
The Tryer's great start to the season continued at the Lighthouse Inn - they totalled 534, with contributions from Phil Hembury 79, Mark Hembury 77 and Jake Gooding 71.
They were 15 pins to good for the Gunners, for whom Ben Sharland scored 82 and Bernie Harris 74.
The Bombers tasted defeat for the first time this season as they crashed to a 32-pin defeat at the Victoria Hotel against the Shunters.
In Division Two, the Social Club remain unbeaten after they finished 22 pins ahead of the Wanderers at the Berrow Club.
Alan Sealey and Roger Quick both scored 74 apiece, and also at the Berrow Club, the Mauricemen gained their first points of the season as they defeated the Radio Social by 24 pins, thanks to the efforts of Keith Coombes and Bobby Evans who scored 72 and 71.
In Division Three, Railway Burtle and the Rovers won their first matches of the season.
Railway Burtle had Alan Eastment 80 and Mike Meaker 75 to thank for their 33 pin victory against the Bombardiers at the Pawlett Legion, meanwhile the Rovers defeated Why Try? by 28 at the Watchfield Inn - Paul Massey blasting his way to 73.
In Division Four, White Rebels made it three from four victory's after they defeated the Lymp Dicks by 18 pins at the Basonbridge Inn, despite 72 from the Dicks, Grahame Hale.
The closest match of the night was at the Bristol Bridge, where the Berrow Basics defeated the Bridgemen by a narrow two pins, thanks to Les Kirby's 69.
