THE SOMERSET Rebels saw their Air-Fence Fund swell by a further £2,750 following a highly successful Dart's Night at the Oaktree Arena - involving two of the World's top professional players, Justin Pipe and Garry Anderson. The Oaktree was packed with darts' enthusiasts who had come to see Pipe and Anderson in action, with the pair both ranked in the world's top 20.

A lucky few were able to play against the pair by way of a raffle draw and auction that were held as part of the night's entertainment.Event organiser Jordan Jones said: "First a big thank you is due to Justin and Garry, in giving up their time last night in order to support our air-fence cause. They are two very down to earth gentlemen and were a pleasure to have at The Oaktree.

“On behalf of everybody here at the club we would like to wish the pair of them the best of luck for this coming weekend at Butlins in Minehead for the Cash Convertors 2013 Players Championship Finals."

"We received such a massive amount of support for this event, selling just under 200 tickets, so would also like to thank all those people who attended and took part in the various raffles and auctions, which all contributed to the superb amount raised on the night, which surpasses our wildest expectations."

"We are in the process of planning a live music night at The Oaktree on Saturday 25th January; details of this will soon be available on the Somerset Rebels website (somersetrebels.co) as we look to continue our fund-raising activities."
