RED Tile went goal crazy in this week’s Uxella League clash with Blake Old Boys – running out 13-0 winners to strengthen their position at the top of Division One.
Craig Chant and Jake Crocker scored four apiece, while there were also goals for Shane Thompson (2), Scott Capel (2) and Simon Bone.
In the weekend’s other league fixture, Maltshovel won 5-0 at Grasshoppers.
The Dave Hobbs Cup took centre stage this Sunday and Tiger Old Boys Reserves booked their place in round two with a 4-2 win at Middlezoy Amicus.
Ian Bellinger and Jamie Chillingworth each grabbed a brace.
Flag Old Boys were 3-1 winners at Knowle thanks to goals from Andy White, Connor James and Kasper Gile – and two goals apiece from Carl Jones and Chris Taylor fired Tiger Old Boys to a 4-1 win against ROF.
Cornhill went down 4-1 at home to Highbrun and Cobblestones nicked a 1-0 victory at home to Red Tile Reserves.
Pawlett Rebels beat Ramblers 4-2, with goals coming from Darryl Taylor, Adam Lawrence, Simon Coombes and Aron Kroll.
Phil Court and Tom Lott scored for Ramblers.
Josh Champion and Greg Turner both scored hat-tricks as Puriton beat Willow Green 7-1.
With 15 minutes left to play, the score line was only 2-1, but as Willow Green pushed for an equaliser they were caught out.
