Beach thrills and spills
FATHER-and-daughter team Jonathan and Jemima Newberry, from Wedmore, are to compete in an international off-road racing event later this month.
The pair will be racing in the Weymouth Beach X on the Dorset coastline on February 22 and 23 – reaching speeds of 70mph, while competitively negotiating ‘Bomb Holes’, Dare Devil Jumps, Sharp Chicanes and a high speed straight.
Crowds will pack Weymouth Seafront to enjoy the thrills and spills of this unique spectacle.
Entry to spectate £5, free of charge to under-16s
