BERROW Reserves face a tough test on Saturday when they travel to take on Division 1 leaders Tickenham Utd.

However, the timing could not be better after Tickenham suffered a shock 4-2 home defeat at the hands of mid-table Portishead Town A and it’s a chance for Berrow to test their mettle.

Ironically, with the weather improving, a number of our sides are without a fixture because of a heavy cup programme.

In Challenge Cup action, however, are Division 3 Wedmore, who entertain Westend who are just above them in the league.

And King Alfred Sports Centre will be hoping to bounce back after their promotion hopes to Division 3 were dented when they suffered a 4-2 defeat at home to fellow challengers KV FC.

This weekend, they welcome mid-table Cleeve West Town A for a Vardon Cup tie.
