IT WAS a bad weekend for the region's premier sides, as both Burnham United and Berrow suffered defeats.
Berrow were beaten 2-1 at sixth placed Minehead - their fourth league defeat in their last six games, a result that keeps them eighth in the Somerset County Premier.
Burnham United slumped to a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Larkhall Athletic Reserves.
The defeat was Burnham's eighth of the season and a mid-table finish is all but a certainty now for Luke Hussey's side.
They host table-topping Frome Collegians this Saturday (March 22), while Berrow also face a game against the league leaders, as they take on Clutton at Warwick Fields.
