SUTTON BINGHAM

With only a week until the end of the season here at Sutton Bingham, the fishing still hasn’t improved, although there are more fish showing, they are still reluctant to come on to feed after the hot water temperatures over the last eight weeks. There have been some fish taken recently but few and far between.

To summarise up the season it was a slow start due to the clarity of the water, but once the water settled the fishing was fantastic right through until the first week in July where the last bag of five fish was taken. When the switch was turned on the fishing stopped and never really picked up this was really the pattern all over the country.

On behalf of Kelvin and myself I would just like to thank all those anglers that were very understanding about the conditions in the later part of the season and for their support throughout the season. Tight lines to those that fish elsewhere during the Winter and we look forward to seeing you all next year.
