IN the first round of the Highbridge & District Skittles League’s four-a-side competition, Radio Social A’s Kevin Cheeseman scored a superb total of 85 at the Basonbridge Inn to help his side to a 24-pin victory over The Poachers A.
Steve Richards chipped in with 76 as the Radio rattled up a total of 276, which was the highest score of the night.
However, The Poachers B team defeated the Radio Social B team by 47 pins thanks to Steve McCann’s 73.
Wayne Pope scored 80 at the Lighthouse Inn for the Tryer’s A as they defeated the Bombardiers A by 34 pins.
