BERROW Reserves pulled themselves away from the foot of Division One of Weston & District League with a 2-1 victory over basement side Yatton Athletic Reserves – they travel to Portishead Town A in round one of the Atwell Shield this weekend.
Elsewhere in Division One, Weston Super Seagulls beat Winscombe Reserves 5-1 and Draycott were 4-1 winners over Tickenham United.
In Division Two, Burnham United A took a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw with AFC Nailsea - United A travel to Wrington Redhill Reserves in the Atwell Shield on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Axbridge Town lost 3-1 at home to Clevedon United A while Uphill Castle Reserves were thrashed 7-2 by Worle Rangers.
Shipham were 2-0 victors at home to Portishead Town B in Division Three and Banwell Reserves were hammered 9-1 by Cleeve West Town.
Hutton Reserves lost 6-1 at home to Clapton in Gordano in Division Four – and in Division Five, Shipham Athletic beat South Park Rangers Reserves 3-2.
Both Wedmore sides were without a game this weekend – the first team welcome Westend this Saturday while the reserves travel to Clevedon United B.
