SAM Godfrey scored a hat-trick for Woolavington as they recorded their first victory of the Uxella Bridgwater & District Sunday League Division 3 campaign with a 5-0 thrashing of Red Road Rangers.
Scott Turner’s brace completed the scoring for the visitors, who climb off the bottom of the division in the process.
Elsewhere in Division 3, Rhode Lane Wanderers amassed 11 of the 14 goals scored at Spaxton on Sunday morning, as they hammered Spaxton Rangers 11-3.
Joe Fitzsimmons scored four times, while there were two goals apiece for Luke Baker, Aaron Larsson and Julian Fairfax - Martyn Milton completed the scoring.
Bridgwater Wolves were 4-3 winners at Huntspill Crowns despite a hat-trick from veteran poacher Wayne Hand – and Spenny’s Sports Bar won their sixth game of the season, with a 4-1 win at leaders Stogursey Rangers.
Sam Edmunds (2), Harry Foster and Matt Brewer were on target for the visitors.
In Division 2, Flag Old Boys kept the pressure on leaders Cobblestones with a 7-0 win at Red Tile Reserves – and in Division 1, Red Tile won an 11-goal thriller 7-4 at Cornhill.
Three games fell victim to the wet weather and will be rescheduled.
