THE cricket season is finally here and the Somerset Cricket League boasts a full list of fixtures this weekend.
Burnham will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing 2014 campaign when they kick of the season with a trip to Yeovil to take on Westlands.
Burnham II will be looking to do the same when they host Uphill Castle Cavaliers.
East Huntspill take on Peasedown St John, Huntspill & District travel to Street II, while the second XI welcome Cranmore II.
Lympsham will be hoping for a similar season to last, when they finished at the top of Division Three – they take on Broadway & Horton, with Lympsham II, who were second in 9NW in 2014, welcoming Wedmore II – Mark are at home to Taunton Deane Cavaliers.
The Somerset Cricket League will continue to play 45 overs this season following a vote at the league AGM earlier this year – bowlers will be allowed to bowl 12 overs and not nine as was proposed.
