WEDMORE battled to a ninth league victory of the season as they beat Westend 2-1 in Division Three of the Weston & District League – they take Wrington Redhill Reserves next Tuesday.
In Division Five, Wedmore Reserves took a point from an eight-goal thriller at home to AFC Nailsea Reserves – they travel to Congresbury A on Saturday.
In Division One, Berrow lost out by the odd goal in seven, going down 4-3 at Draycott – and in Division Two, Burnham United A lost 3-1 at home to Locking Park.
Berrow Reserves are away to Tickenham United on May 6.
