HIGHBRIDGE Town, in Somerset County Division 1W, warm up for their clash with Burnham United (on December 17) by taking on Minehead AFC on Saturday (ko 2pm).
Hosts Highbridge sit sixth in the league, with Minehead seventh – both are on 13 points, but Highbridge have played a game more.
There is no game for Burnham United 1st XI this weekend, a well-earned rest after their epic 5-4 victory over Congresbury last time out, which saw Mike Stevens (2), Tom Hurley, Elliot Lamb and Joe Selway score for United.
Burnham United Reserves are in action, however, at home to Kewstoke Lions on Saturday (ko 2pm) in Division 2W.
The match sees the bottom two sides in the league go head-to-head, with Burnham on six points from nine games and Kewstoke just two from 10.
Burnham United A travel to St George (EiG) in Weston & District Division 4; St George sit fifth in the table, while Burnham are eighth.
In Division 5, bottom side Wedmore Reserves entertain Banwell A (sixth).
