BURNHAM United are back in action after a lengthy winter break as they travel to face Minehead in Division 1W of the Somerset County League.

United have not played since being thumped 6-1 by Uphill Castle on January 7, so should be raring to go this weekend.

Burnham will climb to seventh and leapfrog their opponents in the process with a win on Saturday.

Burnham United Reserves are looking for their first win of 2017 against Clevedon United Reserves in Division 2W.

The second string have shipped eight goals in their last two matches so will be looking to tighten up at the back ahead of the visit of the mid-table side.

Having been denied the chance to draw level on points at the top of Weston & District Division 2 by the weather, Wedmore are back in action this weekend against St George EIG.

They remain three points adrift of Portishead Caledonian Thistle, a deficit that looks likely to remain in place this weekend as the leaders travel to bottom side Clevedon United A.

Burnham A are in Division 4 action away at fellow strugglers Wrington Redhill A, with just a point separating the two sides ahead of the match.

In Division 5, bottom side Wedmore Reserves face a tricky test at fourth-placed Banwell A.
