BURNHAM United, who enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Combe St Nicholas last weekend face a tough test this Saturday.

They travel to Somerset County Division 1 West leaders Portishead Town Reserves (ko 3pm).

Their recent good form has lifted them up to eighth, but their hosts will be out to gain three more points towards their title ambitions.

Highbridge Town, 2-0 winners over Somerton last time out, are without a game this weekend – they go to Uphill Castle on March 18.

Berrow are in cup action on Saturday, away to Hengrove Athletic Reserves in the Somerset Senior Cup quarter-finals (ko 2.30pm).

It gives them a break from their league struggles, Berrow having slid into relegation danger in the Somerset County Premier Division.

Burnham United Reserves play the first of their six successive away games to finish their season on Saturday, away to Nailsea United Reserves (ko 3pm).

Burnham are 10th in Division 2W with Nailsea 12th – but they are both on 10 points and Nailsea have two games in hand.

In the Weston and District League, Division 4’s bottom two meet as Burnham United A go to basement side AFC Nailsea Reserves (ko 3pm).

A win for Burnham would lift them up a spot to seventh in the table.
