BURNHAM & Berrow golfer George Ryall finished in a share for third place at last week’s Gloucestershire & Somerset PGA winter season event at Forest Hills, Coleford.

Ross Langdon (Brickhampton Court) topped the leaderboard with 38 points in a Stableford format, used due to overnight frost on the course.

Mark Plummer came second, two points back, and Ryall was one of five players tied together on 35 points.

In the overall Total Triumph Order of Merit standings, Giuseppe Licata maintains his lead over Russ Berry, with Ryall among those within striking distance of second.

Next week sees the final action of 2017 take place, as Burnham & Berrow's Channel Course hosts the Howards Motor Group Pairs Championship.
