BURNHAM United hope to play their first match since February 3 when - weather permitting - they welcome Nailsea & Tickenham Reserves in Division 1 West of the Somerset County League today.

United are winless in the three matches they have played so far in a weather-hit 2018 and sit ninth with games in hand over most of the teams above them.

Berrow & Highbridge had been due to entertain Glastonbury in the same division, but the hosts have been unable to raise a side, while Wedmore travel to Winscombe in the Atwell Memorial Shield.

Burnham United B welcome league leaders West Wick in Division 5 of the Weston & District League.

In the rugby, Burnham-on-Sea face a tough trip to runaway Western Counties West leaders St Ives.

The Cornish outfit have lost just three games so far this season - in contrast, Burnham have been on the winning side just three times.

Fourth hosts third in Somerset 2 South as Burnham 2nds - who have not played since February 17 - welcome Weston-super-Mare 4ths.
