Weston and District Football League round up

THE Weston and District League kicked off for a number of our sides at the weekend.

A Shaun Lismore hat-trick spearheaded Berrow's 4-3 win over Nailsea United 'A'.

The team took a 4-0 lead at half time but three goals from the visitors made for a nervy last ten minutes. The team travel to Clevedon United Res on Saturday.

In Division Two, Burnham United 'A' lost 4-1 to St George Easton in Gordano Reserves and will look to bounce back against Tickenham United this weekend.

Division Three saw Wedmore fall to a 5-1 loss at Congresbury Reserves and in Division Four King Alfreds Sports Centre lost 2-0 to Bournville Rovers.
