THE seconds started the game by pinning Tor in their own half for the first 10 minutes with good discipline at the game line.

Tor opened the scoring but Will Conway replied immediately for Burnham to level the scores up thanks to an Alex Bowkett conversion.

Tor responded again with a try but Burnham lead 12-14 at half time as Bonell broke from the ruck and Bowkett converted.

In the second half, the experience of the Tor forwards was too much for the young inexperienced Burnham pack and despite some quick ball from Berry through the backs to Ben Gibb who scored in the far corner they fell to a 29-19 defeat.

This forthcoming Saturday the 2nds entertain Crewkerne at home with a 3.00pm KO.
