Shiplate Farm fishing latest news
THE autumnal weather was kind to two of the top Bristol based match groups PSV and Fry's, who fished a match over all three lakes at Shiplate Farm, Hawthorns, Westpool and Main Lake.
The Main Lake was in good form as Alan Healey landed several double figured carp to end the match with a bag of 81lb 8oz, and a 32lb bag of silvers were nettted by Chris Szakacs with maggot being the most productive bait for a lot of the anglers.
The Westpool also showed some good Bream and the Carp were feeding well on the Hawthorns. The match resulted in a close result giving Pete Sivell first place overall. His second consecutive win at Shiplate Farm. Hawthorns
