Somerset Junior Cup second round
Highbridge Town 3, Aller Park 2
HIGHBRIDGE got their first win of the season against Yeovil and District League side Aller Park on Saturday.
But it wasn't plain sailing for Highbridge as they battled back from trailing 2-0 at half-time after an early Stuart green chance went begging.
Highbridge got into their stride in the second half and halved the deficit on 55 minutes went a long throw from Craig Holley was met by the head of John Rawlings.
Five minutes later, in almost identical circumstances, Holley's throw fell to Chris Farley six yards from goal and he tapped the ball in.
Then with 15 minutes remaining, Richard Probert sealed the win with a bullet header from a Chris Lemaitre corner.
The team wait to hear who they face in the next round but are back to try and get a first win in their league campaign with a trip to North Petherton. Kick-off is 2.30pm.
*THE Reserves' match against Redgate was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. They have no game this weekend.
