Kasabian will play the Snowbombing festival next year
Kasabian are set to perform at 6,000 feet on top of an Austrian mountain as part of a festival appearance.
The British rockers have signed up headline the Snowbombing festival 2013 in Mayrhofen, Austria, dubbed "the greatest show on snow".
As well as performing for crowds at the festival the band will perform a second and exclusive and intimate show 6,000 feet up on the crest of a mountain.
Other acts announced to be performing at the event, which takes place between April 1 and April 6, include Example, Katy B, Ms Dynamite and DJ Norman Jay.
Example said: "I don't just come to Snowbombing on the day of the gig. I come for the week. Still the best party of the year for me - unrivalled location. I've got the added excitement of playing the party in the forest this year!"
