Robert Pattinson claims his heart was broken as a young boy by Jet from Gladiators
Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has revealed he had a childhood crush on Gladiators star Jet - and she shattered his trust in women.
The actor - who was in London for last night's premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 2 - said he held a torch for the athletic star, but she let him down by missing a public appearance.
Jet, whose real name is Diane Youdale, appeared in the ITV entertainment show for four years in the 1990s.
R-Patz, 26, told Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw: "I did a dog beauty show when I was about 10 and Jet was supposed to be judging it and she didn't turn up.
"It's scarred me with women, I don't trust women anymore."
