Joey Essex is spending Christmas with Sam Faiers

Joey Essex has revealed he's planning to spend Christmas Day with girlfriend Sam Faiers.

But The Only Way Is Essex star confessed he's not much use around the house during the festive season.

"I love Christmas, it's my favourite time of the whole year. I think I'll spend it at Sam's house, we'll just have dinner and stuff," he said.

"I normally spend it round at my dad's or whatever, but we're spending it at Sam's house this year."

He added: "I normally try and do the cutlery or the plates because I can't really cook and I can't really clean up.

"I just muck around and be myself and have a joke, pull some crackers."

Joey refused to be drawn on what presents he'll be getting Sam.

"I can't really say because that will be telling," he teased.
