Leona Lewis has teamed up with The Body Shop
Chart star Leona Lewis is launching her own range of cruelty-free cosmetics.
Animal lover Leona has teamed up with The Body Shop for the products and will also become a "brand activist" for the company.
The vegetarian singer has regularly voiced her views about the treatment of animals and has been a big supporter of an animal sanctuary in Brentwood, Essex.
Her limited edition range of make-up and fragrances is to go on sale from March 26 and she will stage a concert to mark the occasion which is being streamed online.
She has also designed the packaging for the vegetarian-friendly range, which uses man-made musk.
As part of her role with the firm, the 2006 X Factor winner will be joining their campaign to end animal-testing globally, building on an European Union ban.
She said: "I'm passionate about beauty and I'm all about animal rights. As a result, I'm really conscious of where the products that I use come from.
"The collaboration is a natural fit," the 27-year-old added.
