An Elton John gig in the US has been cancelled
Elton John has cancelled a concert set for Friday night in the US.
The singer was supposed to perform in Birmingham, Alabama. Ticketmaster announced the cancellation on its website.
Officials at the arena said medical reasons were being cited for the cancellation, but they do not have details.
A photograph on the arena's Facebook page showed that the singer's piano was in place and ready for the show.
