Anton and Erin waltz Pensioners
Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag have surprised the Chelsea Pensioners with a performance and a chance to dance with them at The Dairy Council's Christmas event.
The Strictly Come Dancing pros and dance partners made a glamorous entrance at the annual Royal Hospital, Chelsea event, the Ceremony Of The Christmas Cheeses.
Dressed in their ballroom finest, they performed for the Pensioners before asking them to take to the floor, where they chatted with the retired servicemen and showed them some steps.
A pregnant Erin, dressed in a sparkling blue ballgown, showed off her growing baby bump as she waltzed Pensioners around the room.
She is not taking part in this year's Strictly because she is expecting her first child and Anton, who partnered former Bond girl Fiona Fullerton, has been knocked out of the competition.
The Ceremony Of The Christmas Cheeses dates back to 1692, when the Royal Hospital asked a local cheesemonger to donate some cheese to the Pensioners as a festive treat, and now cheeses are sent from all over the country each year.
Chairman of The Dairy Council Sandy Wilkie said: "We are very pleased that once again the men and women of the Royal Hospital will enjoy 200 kilos of fine quality British cheeses throughout this Christmas period.
"We are always very proud of the generosity that British cheesemakers show at this time of year donating cheeses to these much-loved war veterans. We are also delighted to have Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag as our guests, who truly entertained the Chelsea Pensioners today."
