Tina Malone has made her first TV appearance with new baby daughter Flame.
The 50-year-old Shameless star got pregnant after IVF treatment and gave birth to Flame just a few weeks ago, two weeks before her due date of New Year's Eve.
Introducing her daughter on This Morning, Tina said: "I feel privileged and charmed and so lucky to have her. She's so content, she's not a crier - yet."
She also said she was proud to show that older women could make good mums: " I'm not saying you should run out at 50 and get pregnant, but we should encourage debate on older women who are now more successful in the workplace, more educated, can make better choices with men and relationships.
"Why shouldn't you have the opportunities in your 40s to go for IVF, either with your own eggs or egg donation?
"I'm not saying it's for everyone at 50 to run out and get pregnant, but I have proved my critics wrong... I'm healthy and happy."
Tina appeared on This Morning with her husband Paul Chase, 31, a personal trainer who she married in 2010.
After Flame was born, Tina tweeted: "Proud to announce the arrival of our BABY GIRL,cant wait to spend xmas as a family.xxxx."
Tina has a 31-year-old daughter, Danielle, from a previous relationship.
