Kaley Cuoco has opened up about how much her life has changed in the past year.
The Big Bang Theory star married tennis player Ryan Sweeting on New Year's Eve 2013, after a whirlwind romance and admitted the first year of marriage is a huge learning experience.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Authors Anonymous, the 28-year-old said: "It's so weird but it feels exactly the same; work is great, I have a great husband, we moved, a lot has happened, but it feels exactly the same, just better."
Kaley, who is best known for her role as ditzy waitress Penny in the E4 comedy The Big Bang Theory, puts the stability in her life down to the small group of people around her.
"I keep a very tight core around me, in my friends and people that I work with and I don't let a lot of new people in so I have that stability when I come home and I've had it for 25 years."
But she said there were still plenty of surprises in her life: "I'm newly-married and there are always surprises there, there's stuff on the floor constantly, the cooking and stuff."
In her new film, Kaley plays an aspiring young writer who finds huge success, much to the chagrin of other members of her writing group, and the starlet said she jumped at the chance to work with American Pie actor Chris Klein.
"I loved this script, it is so sweet. I knew Chris was attached and I wanted to work with him, it got my sister's music in the movie and it felt like a family affair."
Authors Anonymous is due to be released on DVD in the UK next month.
