Joey Essex is being lined up as a potential host of The Xtra Factor.
The Sun says that the former Towie star - who famously admitted on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! that he could not tell the time - has been screen tested for the new series of the ITV2 show.
It reports that current host Matt Richardson won't be returning in August, but that co-presenter Caroline Flack could be back.
Joey is one of a number of new names being tried out for the TV spin-off, including Radio 1 DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford and MTV host Laura Whitmore.
The new presenting line-up could feature a male-female pair-up or a single female presenter, the newspaper says.
An insider was quoted as saying that signing up Joey, who has enjoyed success with ITV2 show Educating Joey Essex, could be risky.
"Joey has been a big hit for ITV2 and has a lot of fans out there. The Xtra Factor is all about being big and brash, and having Joey on board would bring a lot of attention," the source said.
"But it is an hour-long show that goes live for the performance shows on Saturdays and Sundays. Could he handle that?"
