Bouchard wants Bieber in Royal Box
Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard has made a light-hearted plea for shamed pop star Justin Bieber to be invited to the Royal Box.
She has previously named her fellow Canadian as her dream date, and now wants him to cheer her on from the exclusive enclosure in Centre Court.
When it was suggested that he might not be allowed in given his recent misdemeanours, she said: ''They really wouldn't allow him in the Royal Box if he came?
''I feel like he would manage to get himself in there somehow.''
Eugenie, 20, joked that she hoped he had noticed her success.
''I'm putting in so much hard work, you know. I want to see this hard work rewarded,'' she said.
''You know, he's kind of been in trouble recently, so I'm not associated with that at the moment. But, you know, if he cleans up his image...''
Eugenie - who is named after Princess Eugenie - will take on Petra Kvitova in the July 5 final.
Meanwhile a host of famous faces from the world of film, sport and fashion are expected watch the Wimbledon men's semi-finals from the Royal Box today (July 4).
US actor Bradley Cooper is due to sit in the exclusive Centre Court enclosure with his model girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.
Actor Jude Law, golfer Jack Nicklaus, former Irish rugby union captain Brian O'Driscoll and adventurer Bear Grylls are also set to enjoy the best view of the world's most famous tennis lawn, while the strict dress code for players will be under close scrutiny by American Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
They will witness the old guard of tennis attempt to stall the rise of a new generation in the men's game. Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitrov, both 23, are through to the last four for the first time at a grand slam.
Raonic faces seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer, while Andy Murray's conqueror Dimitrov meets top seed Novak Djokovic.
