Nicola Marie Bloor performs during the Manchester X Factor auditions
One X Factor wannabe drove the judges gaga with her audition in the latest show.
Nicola-Marie Bloor, who performs as an Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga tribute act, blamed her nerves for her constant chatter which saw Louis Walsh compare her to Davina McCall.
The 35-year-old from Derby did a better job of impressing the judges when she belted her way through Taylor Dayne's 1988 hit Tell It To My Heart and former Spice Girl Mel B told her: "I properly loved it, it was full on. Yeah, it is a little bit dated, so what, but you grabbed my attention".
Gary Barlow was less impressed, telling her: "I didn't really enjoy the audition, I found it dated and ultimately I'd find you really annoying if you were in my category."
Lifeguard Jake Quickenden was a definite hit with his version of Kings of Leon's Use Somebody impressing all the judges, with Gary telling him: "I love your voice, I love your image".
It all ended in tears for another of the performers - a 26-year-old tool salesman from Wolverhampton called Joseph.
His emotions got the better of him after he was joined on stage by his four-year-old son Kian.
But his performance of Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love made the panel smile with Louis telling him: "You've got an amazing talent, you've got an authentic rock voice," and Gary describing him as "absolutely awesome".
He also impressed Mel B with the former Spice Girl saying: "You smashed it. You're really hot, you've got great tattoos, and you smash things up with tools, and then you sing...done."
