Kim Kardashian has said boyfriend Kanye West is also her "best friend."

The pair - dubbed Kimye - have been friends for years but began dating in April.

In an interview with Tatler magazine, Kim said: "Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting. He's been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous."

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was previously married for 72 days to basketball player Kris Humphries, but now she insists she doesn't divulge as much about her relationships.

Kim said: "When I look back at interviews I gave [about other boyfriends] saying 'We're talking about marriage' it's embarrassing."

She said her relationship with Kanye is different "because he understands the business."

While she won't say if they are thinking about it, Kim says she would definitely marry again, only this time, "I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that's it."

It seems even if the cameras aren't present for a wedding, Kim is comfortable with them in her life..

She told the magazine: "In high school, I used to watch The Real World...I remember saying to my best friend 'I know my life is supposed to be on a reality TV show'."
