TALENTED transatlantic fiddle singer Christi Andropolis brings her dynamic mixture of Appalachian mountain music and Delta Blues to the Ritz Acoustic Club in Burnham on Thursday (March 20).

Originally from New York State, Christi now resides in Plymouth and has been earning rave reviews across the country for her onstage charisma, expressive vocals and energetic playing.

Accomplished guitarist David Newey, a fellow member of the band Rubus, will accompany her during her performance.

The Ritz Acoustic Club has evolved from its first open mic night in Highbridge to its current home at the Ritz Social club. The club continues to grow and features regular attendances in excess of 60+ during its weekly meetings.

Christi's debut album, Wicker Road, will be on sale on the night. Tickets are priced at £4, including a buffet supper, and are available from GC Music on 01278-794434.
