Burnham prepared for Tremor
 |
| Bristol-based Tremor bring their brand of indie-rock to the Railway on Saturday (March 22) |
SOUTH WEST indie-rockers Tremor will bring their ear-catching melodies and memorable lyrics to the Railway Inn in Burnham on Saturday (March 22).
Tremor first formed in Weston in 2000 and boast band members who have received songwriters' awards, recording contracts, radio and TV airplay and numerous festival appearances around the UK.
Band members refined their musical craft separately but have rejoined once more to share stages with Scouting For Girls, Newton Faulkner, Brit-pop kings Dodgy and even the Cheeky Girls.
Tremor have been influenced mainly by early 1990s rock, with the sound of The Lemonheads, Stone Roses, The Verve and Blur featuring heavily in their songs.
Lead singer Matt Wescott's lyrics accompany the melodic tunes extremely well and it is refreshing to hear bands capture the essence of Brit-pop again.
Their new EP, Homebrew, is set for release very soon and features the harmonious Kinetic, the upbeat Out in the Open and mellow Where the Wind Blows - a song perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons. There is no doubt these will be showcased at the Railway Inn on Saturday, so if you loved 90s indie-pop, you are going to love Tremor.
The band are also recording an exclusive acoustic track for Sunday Music Live, which is set to broadcast on Star 107.7fm on Sunday March 23rd.
If you get yourself to the Railway Inn on Saturday evening, you will be in for a real treat of well-crafted indie tunes.
