| Guns 2 Roses heading to the Railway in May |
FOLLOWING the success of Neck's recent gig at Burnham's Railway Hotel, the establishment has pulled off another coup by securing the return appearance of the UK's leading tribute act Guns 2 Roses on May 3.
Last year, the act tore the house down to rapturous applause and tickets sold out in just three weeks, making it one of the most popular events to be held at the venue.
Since forming in 2002, G2R have thrilled audiences with their natural charisma and they emulate their idols Guns n Roses with impressive ease, even impressing founding members of the band themselves.
In 2006, Steve Adler, the original GNR drummer toured with G2R, emphatically raising their credentials as the most convincing tribute out there.
Guns 2 Roses pride themselves on being mirror images of the original act, churning out hits from classic albums such as Appetite For Destruction, Use Your Illusion I and II and Spaghetti Incident.
They are set to headline the Glastonbudget tribute festival for a third year running and have even played in front of 35,000 people when playing the Matthew Street Festival in 2006.
The event starts at 9pm and tickets are £6.50. Tickets are available from the Railway Hotel on 01278-784828.
