I AM at present trying to update my mailing list of the men who were in the former regiment of the Somerset Light Infantry and who served in the UK, Germany, Malta, Suez and Cyprus in the 1950s.

My list has not been updated since 1995 when we first held our reunions, so I am requesting help in drawing these men together, so that they might be invited to our annual get-togethers.

This year will be our 13th such event, with the usual grand buffet, raffle, cash bar and the great opportunity to meet up with old friends and perhaps, meet some new ones.

We would also like to invite any and all national service officers and any attached personnel.
