Somerset County Council District of West Somerset and Taunton Deane, Parishes of Sampford Arundel and Wellington Without Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles and Suspension of One Way Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that on 27th March 2020 Somerset County Council made the above order in exercise of its powers in the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 19* March 2020 to introduce a temporary prohibition of vehicles in the roads specified in the Schedules to this Order. The Order comes into effect on the 2"" April 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The restrictions will apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Schedule Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles Breach Hill, Sampford Arundel - For its entire length. The proposed date of the closure is 6,h April 2020 for 12 days. Sampford Moor Road, Wellington Without -Phase 1: From the junction with Wellington Relief Road, south-westwards to the junction with Wrangcombe Road for 500 metres. The proposed date of the closure is 20* April 2020 for 3 days. Sampford Moor Road, Wellington Without -Phase 2: From the junction with Court Moors Lane, south-westwards for 300 metres. The proposed date of the closure is 22nd April 2020 for 3 days. Brimstone Lane, Wellington Without - From the junction of Sampford Moor Road, northwards for 40 metres. The proposed date of the closure is 27u< April 2020 for 3 days.Schedule 2

Temporary Suspension of One Way Brimstone Lane, Wellington Without - For its entire length, for use of temporary diversion routes from Schedule 1.

a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or



b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
