SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL VARIOUS ROADS. COSSINGTON (PARISH OF COSSINGTON) 3OMPH SPEED LIMIT AND RESTRICTED ROADS) ORDER 2018 NOTICE is hereby given that Somerset County Council proposes to make the above Order in exercise of its powers conveyed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to introduce a 30 mph speed limit on the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Order.
A copy of the Order, the plan showing the extents of the restrictions and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at (i) Somerset Highways, A Block reception, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DY and (ii) the Somerset County Council website: www.somerset.gov.uk/TRO. If you are unable to access either please contact 0300 123 2224.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order may do so in writing, quoting Ref. No. AC05012018, specifying the grounds on which it is made, to Somerset County Council, Traffic Management, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DYand received no later than the 6th March 2018. The names and addresses of anyone writing in may be made available for public inspection and will be included in a report that may be published on the Somerset County Council website, unless the individuals concerned state, in writing, their objection to their names and address being made so available or being included in the publication.

(Restricted Roads) Manor Road, Cossington - From the junction with Brent Road for a distance of 635 metres in a southerly direction.
Brent Road, Cossington - From the junction with Manor Road for a distance of 470 metres in a westerly direction.
Middle Road, Cossington - From the junction with Manor Road for a distance of 525 metres in an easterly direction.
Bell Lane, Cossington - From the junction with Middle Road for a distance of 420 metres in a northerly direction.
St Mary's Close, Cossington - For its entire length.
Park Crescent, Cossington - For its entire length. Manor Close, Cossington - For its entire length. Locks Way, Cossington - For its entire length. Orchard Close, Cossington - For its entire length. Mowground Lane, Cossington - For its entire length.
