SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT OF SEDGEMOOR PARISHES OF CHILTON TRINITY AND CANNINGTON Temporary Closure of Footpaths BW 10/12 BW 10/11 and BW 5/4 TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset has made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along (1) part of Footpath BW 10/12 from a point 30 metres west of its junction with footpath BW 10/11 and running in a easterly direction along the river bank for 200 metres and part of footpath BW 10/11 from its junction with footpath BW 10/12 and running in a southerly direction for 40 metres (2) part of Footpath BW 10/12 from a point 120 metres north or its junction with footpath BW 10/10 and running in a northerly direction along the river bank for 520 metres (3) part of footpath BW 5/4 from its junction with footpath BW 5/6 at Stallington's Clyce and running in a westerly direction for 10 metres. These closures are required to allow reinstated vegetation on the banks to become established. The Order came into effect on 10 February 2018 and will remain in force for six months.
