From Exeter, take Western Way north away from the city centre, and join Old Tiverton Road, continuing at the roundabout onto Stoke Hill. Follow Stoke Hill for just less than three miles, and then continue onto the High Street (A396) in Stoke Canon. Continue to follow the A396 for six miles, then after crossing the River Exe in Bickleigh, turn left onto the A3072.
