Directions

From Taunton take the A358 road to Bishops Lydeard and the take the B3224 as far as Elworthy Cross. At Elworthy Cross continue straight over the crossroads and continue west for about 4 miles and go past the Raleighs Cross Inn. Take the next right hand fork in the road by the Methodist Chapel on the B3224 heading towards Wheddon Cross. After about 2 miles, take the next left hand turning signposted Eastcott Lane and Eastcott Farms and at the bottom of the hill, take the first left through double gates into Lower Eastcott Farm drive. Bear right and follow the track past the farmhouse and past the entrance to Escott House. Continue following the stone track around the field, through another gate and continue along the track and Combe Cottage can be found at the end.
