COULD Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole get their romance back on track tonight as they share their first Love Island date?

Yesterday’s (Thursday) episode saw Jake getting to know new arrival Millie Court.

Liberty later told him she is “not going to sit here and watch you get to know every blonde girl”.

“I gave you 110 per cent, and if you don’t want to give me that back that’s fine," she added.

“But I’m not going to give 110 per cent if you’re going to get to know other girls.”

Jake then confirmed he was not interested in anyone else in the villa.

In tonight's episode, Jake receives a text which reads: “Jake and Liberty, it’s time for your first date. Please get ready to leave the villa.’ #Jiberty #ToesCompany”

With the help of the girls, Liberty gets glammed up and she prepares to head out on her date.

On the date, Jake said: “I feel like it’s brought feelings stronger than what it was before.”

Liberty said: “If I am completely honest, I didn’t expect to come into Love Island and literally find what we’ve got from day one. Like I do obviously like you a little bit.”

But, will Jake be prepared to put all his eggs into Liberty’s basket?

Meanwhile, Toby Aromolaran cooled his romance with Kaz Kamwi last night.

The semi-professional footballer made the decision after Chloe Burrows stated her interest in him.

During a racy challenge, she opted to kiss him in front of all the islanders and the pair later told each other they were interested in exploring their romance further.

Chloe told a group of female contestants Toby is her “type on paper”.

Toby later told Chloe: “Out of all the girls here, you intrigue me the most.”

The pair later shared another kiss in private.

Kaz labelled Chloe a “snake” during the episode for going behind her back.

At the end of the episode, tonight's upcoming arrival of new “bombshell” Teddy Soares was teased - we'll find out later this evening what fireworks his entry causes...

Love Island continues on ITV2 and the ITV Hub at 9pm.
