After the event, profits from ticket sales will be donated to the Somerset Crisis Fund.

The fund enables the county's village agents to help people “who find themselves in situations no-one should be in”, including being without food, heating, or basic essentials.

The charity allows agents to access funds to pay for things to get people out of crisis and make immediate improvements to their lives.

Tickets are priced at £13 and can be bought via the The Princess Theatre's website.

Event promotor David Sturgess said: “Timothy Dean has been a well-known folk singer on the Somerset scene for some years.

“What is less well-known is that he has spent those years researching the county’s many stories, myths, and legends – spanning the prehistoric Cheddar Man, Jesus, pirates, murders, and mysteries.”
