A variety of events are set to take place across the Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater areas.

Bridgwater Comedy Club - Headline Simon Evans

Simon Evans will headline a night of live stand-up in Bridgwater.

The show will take place at The McMillan Theatre on Thursday, June 25 and will last 140 minutes.

Bridgwater Comedy Club is presenting the event, which will also feature David Arnold, Ben Treloar, and MC Luke Honnoraty.

Evans has appeared on Live at the Apollo and BBC Radio 4 and is known for his sharp observations and dry wit.

Arnold's set will focus on everyday absurdities, while Treloar's act will feature a confident and energetic performance with sharp writing and a strong stage presence.

Tickets cost £22.50 and can be purchased at mcmillantheatre.com/events/bridgwater-comedy-club---headline-simon-evans.

Everywhere At Once Festival

Bridgwater is set to host performances for a new UK-wide music festival.

The Everywhere At Once Festival will run from Friday, June 26, to Sunday, June 28, at The Cobblestones, featuring local talent and renowned names.

Among the acts, local band Bottlemoth will play on Sunday, June 28, alongside Petitions and Elk Ilk.

All shows start at 7pm.

For tickets, visit thecobblestonesmusic.co.uk/events.

Supported by Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery, more than 400 venues across the UK will host the event.

Becky Hill, Rizzle Kicks, and The Divine Comedy, who will play at other venues, are among the headline acts for the festival.

The event aims to bolster grassroots music venues and highlight local talent across the country, with more information available at lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/news/the-uks-biggest-ever-music-festival-is-coming-to-a-venue-near-you.

Serendipity Singers Concert

A choir will perform in the Burnham and Highbridge area to raise funds for a mental health charity.

The Serendipity Singers will hold the concert at Berrow Village Hall at 3pm on Saturday, June 27, with all proceeds going to In Charley’s Memory.

Based in Burnham-on-Sea, the charity supports young people across the area.

Tickets are £8 and include refreshments.

They can be bought in advance from In Charley's Memory's offices on Burnham High Street.

Tickets will also be available at the door on the day.

Organisers said the event promises a 'warm, uplifting' programme of music and aims to offer a relaxed, enjoyable afternoon for the community.

Courtroom Live

A real-life courtroom experience is coming to a Burnham-on-Sea theatre.

The Princess Theatre is set to host Courtroom Live, an immersive event recreating a historical trial, on Saturday, June 27, at 7pm.

Audience members will step into the shoes of jurors, tasked with hearing evidence, questioning witnesses, debating facts and delivering a verdict.

The event is run by Cheeky Reaper, who insists it will not be a murder mystery.

The case is not fictional, and the outcome of the real trial will be revealed at the end.

Music on the Levels: Zeffe

Zeffe will bring Klezmer and Balkan music to Westonzoyland.

The free concert, organised by Music on the Levels, will take place at St Mary's Church, Main Road, on Sunday, June 28 at 3pm.

Refreshments will be on sale from 2.15pm.

The classic four-piece line-up includes clarinet, fiddle, accordion, and double bass, with vocals and percussion.

Attendees are advised not to park in Church Lane, but roadside parking is available elsewhere in the village.

Seating is first-come, first-served, and there is no need to book.

A raffle and donations are encouraged to help cover concert costs, which exceed £400.
