Free Crafting Group

A free crafting group is being held for enthusiasts in Bridgwater.

The gathering takes place every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Bridgwater Library, with the next event set for Wednesday, July 29.

The group encourages all levels of expertise to participate, offering a platform for hobbyists to share tips, seek project-related advice, and learn new skills in a relaxed setting.

Attendees need not pre-book; they can simply turn up with their projects.

The weekly informal meet-up provides a community for those who knit, crochet, needlefelt, embroider, or do any handcrafting to connect.

For more information, potential participants can contact organiser Pamela on 07789 995204.

Over-60s Exercise Class

Sessions take place every Thursday at 9am and 11am, with the next session set for Thursday, July 30.

Held at Burnham-on-Sea Baptist Church, the classes aim to bolster joint, bone, and muscle strength, in addition to improving balance, posture, flexibility, and coordination.
