Radio One’s Big Weekend kicked off the sunny bank holiday break in Earlham Park with an unbeatable line-up of musical geniuses across their three stages.
And, gearing us up for two jam-packed days of good music were the likes of Snoop Dogg, Muse, Jess Glynne, David Guetta and Florence and the Machine.
Most music lovers would’ve flocked to Norwich for the chance to catch their favourite artists perform, but considering the Big Weekend is Europe’s biggest free festival, tickets were limited. Some fans even resorted to trying to tunnel their way under the fences.
However, the BBC did us all the favour of broadcasting the day’s amazing acts on TV – and if that wasn’t enough to make you green with envy, these pictures will definitely make you wish you were in the 50,000 or so strong crowd at Radio One’s Big Weekend…
