Simon Weston OBE was aboard RFA Sir Galahad when she was bombed by two Argentine planes.
Against the odds, he managed to escape the burning and buckled ship, but only after suffering 46% burns.
Today, he is one of the most recognised faces of the Falklands conflict, which saw 655 Argentine and 255 British soldiers killed in the summer of 1982.
Simon tell his no holds barred story on Saturday, October 4, at the Brewhouse Theatre at 7.30pm.
Tickets start at £15 with special rates for students and the military. Book online at www.thebrewhouse.net
